What is therapy?
Therapy is a collaborative process where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space. Together, we work to better understand your challenges, build healthy coping strategies, and support your personal growth.
What can I expect in the first session?
The first session is about creating a space where you can feel heard. We’ll take time to understand what has brought you here and what feels most important to you right now. There is no pressure to have all the answers or know where to begin. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable, and together we’ll decide what the journey ahead might look like.
Do you offer virtual therapy sessions?
Yes, we provide virtual therapy options to accommodate your preferences and schedule.
Is therapy confidential?
Absolutely. Your privacy is important. Everything shared in therapy is confidential unless there is a risk of serious harm, concerns about abuse or neglect, a legal requirement or court order, or your written consent to share information. For clients under 18, parents or guardians may receive information when necessary to support the child's safety and well-being while respecting their privacy whenever possible. If confidentiality must be limited, we will discuss it with you whenever possible.
Do you offer therapy for children and teens ?
Yes. I work with adolescents aged 12 years and above, providing a safe and supportive space to navigate emotional, social, and personal challenges. For anyone under 18, parental or legal guardian consent is required before therapy begins.
When should I seek therapy?
Therapy can be helpful if you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply curious about understanding yourself better. Seeking therapy is a personal choice—there doesn’t have to be a “big enough” reason.
